organisation we are firmly committed to partnership type arrangements

We believe we offer a more
personalised approach to contracting which in turn offer’s a rapid
response, quality service to the customer, at a low cost.
Safety always holds the highest priority on our work
sites. Prior to each contract starting a Safe Work Method Statement is written, a Job
Safety Analysis is carried out and regular tool box meetings are conducted to ensure each
person working on the site is aware of changing hazards as the job progresses.
Our employees are widely
experienced, with many years of successful, safe contracting, they
are qualified by Workcover approved OH&S courses, and all
Plant Operators are holders of Workcover tickets for their relevant
machines.
We have recently completed a pilot mentoring program
conducted by Workcover & Bovis Lend Lease aimed at improving
safety in the construction industry.
The owner of Ledacon - Paul Martin was previously a member
of the Small Business Development Corporation, a part time advisory
board to the Minister of Small Business.
Ledacon is an active member of the Civil Contractors Federation.

We have carried out many contracts with organisations such as local contractors, local
council and State Government Departments, our impressive record of repeat contracts
indicates that we are maintaining our guiding objective, namely ongoing customer
satisfaction.
We hold a certificate of currency for workers
compensation insurance, and hold public liability insurance to the value of $20,000,000
We own all the plant required to carry out the
construction of most civil construction contracts, but also have an extensive list of
subcontractors and suppliers to assist in carrying out our work.
We are an approved Contractor for the construction of
vehicular and special crossings for Wollongong City Council, and we currently hold a 12
month contract with Shellharbour City Council to carry out the construction of minor
concrete works.
